I am thankful that I am taking a much needed break this month. It is snowing and I am relieved that I am not on call. Usually I would be fretting about how I am going to get out the door if I get called and get to a birth safely. No need to worry about that. Tonight I am planning ahead and looking at my calendar. Not many births booked yet this year. I do hope that I will be contacted soon. It is such an exciting time meeting new families and helping them prepare for their birth.
In a few weeks I start my first prenatal series. I am really looking forward to it.
